My Polish is dying

It does sound as if you're doing the best that can be done. I definitely would recommend the baby parrot food, as it will have all of the nutrients necessary, in a balanced formula, where various foods will only give her parts of the necessary balance. I won't ever go without as a first aid around here- it's in the box with all of my other chicken remedies!

If she's standing now when you come in, you are getting improvement, and that's very hopeful!

Best of luck- i can't say I know what caused it, but sometimes we don't find out. Keep an eye out for unusual behavior in the rest of the flock, just in case it was a toxin ingested.

Good job, Chicken Momma!!!

If you feel she's improving, then definitely I wouldn't do the flush. She sounds like she's in good hands, really.

It's good that she's eating. If you think she's not eating enough, definitely the parrot formula is great stuff (and provides probiotics, too). Sounds awesome! Please do continue to let us know how she is... and when the rhubarb pies are ready. /wink

Incidentally I just personally would use the formula in her food, the electrolytes separate in her water for her own drinking. Just imo.

Well as soon as she jumps up to the side of the tote, I will put her outside again. She is pecking at her scratch and feed in there. I have seen her drinking.
