I hatched out about 50 production reds 5 week ago.
I had to bring them inside due to all the snow and they were not quite feathered enough. The problem at this age is they can fly and they stink so were was i going to put them.
After much time i said to myself lets put them in one of our bathrooms. That's were i always leave things that stink.
They would be right next to water for there cage and it would make taking care of them much nicer. One of the chicks had a cut and i couldn't leave him with the other chickens so i put him in a box.
A few days later it was still snowing and the little roo was healing nice. I was thinking about putting him back but wanted to give him one more day.
Then i heard a loud Cheep Cheep.
I went why does it sound like he escaped? So i went to investigate. I peeked through the door to see where he was.
He was perched on the toilet. And obviously missed a few times.
So i opened up the door and he freaked and fell in.
I had to dig him out and decided the caged stock tank was good after all.
Poor Roo
