Our 6 new girls are the most lively bunch of chicks I’ve had thus far. There isn’t a lot of fear of humans. Since they were two weeks old, I’ve set up a dog fence around their brooder that I sit in and to them out for a bit. Everytime I open that brooder door the girls sprint out with full blown chicken zoomies then just perch all over me. It’s been good for them and very therapeutic for me. I have a roll of toilet paper I use to clean up any poops they make and wash the towels daily after we’re done with our social session. They are 6 weeks old today and just about fully feathered. We’re putting them outside with the 4 big girls this weekend.
