Hiya everyone sorry I have taken so long to update, I have had a hectic day just got back...
All eggs had hatched apart from Daisy's egg when I got up this morning.. I was so worried as it was not rocking or making a noise.. I thought it had died.... I made a decision to start the zipping process as there had been no improvement in over 24 hours to the tiny pip I showed you in the previous picture.. I very carefully started zipping and I heard some little cheeps.. I was so relieved it had not died.... I managed to zip and get the chick out in one sitting as there was no blood and the yolk sac had been fully absorbed, which told me it was ready.. the only reason I could think of for not being able to hatch out itself was the size of the chick to the egg, it was very crammed in....
I would never usually help... but this egg was special and I had to do something...
And here is the new chick
Just after hatch
With its brothers and sisters (The yellow/gold chick on the left is Daisy's baby)
I will get more pics once they have settled down
Thankyou everyone for your support.. this was the worst 21 days of my life, I was so worried, but all turned out great in the end
