My poor, dehydrated roo T^T

Sometime either last night or this morning my three chickens ran out of water. I filled it up for them and they all came running to drink. My two ladies did just fine but my roo started dribbling up clear goo then going back for more water. I took the water out a while to give him some time to digest then brought it back and he did the same thing. Took the water back out again for about five minutes then brought it back. This time he only took a sip before going to his feed. Should I be worried or is this a somewhat normal event for rehydration?

Chickens can regurgitate, and it's totally normal.

If they ran out overnight, since chickens are fairly inactive when the sun is down, I imagine they're okay. We haven't had many truly hot Texas days yet, so as long as he keeps drinking, keeps eating, and stays active, he'll recover.

If he starts to get pale, lethargic, goes off food/water, or otherwise starts deteriorating, let us know.
