My poor EE's Vent!!!!!!!!

This girl is 2 years old and in the past week or so she has laid these 2 eggs. They are huge!!!! They have a large wyandotte egg between them. She laid 1 like this last year and we thought it was a double or tripple yolk but it had 1 huge yolk. The kids said we should hatch 1 and get a hulk baby. They are bigger than my turkey or peafowl eggs.

Yup I have a hatchery EE that lays huge green torpedo shaped eggs just like that. It always freaks me expecting to find her keeled over dead from trying to lay it because she is a little thing really. I weighed one of them once at just a hair under 3 ounces in weight on the kitchen scale.

I just weighed them and they were 4 & 4 1/2 ozs! I think I will hatch one next time.

I told myself not to hatch anymore chicken eggs this year but if she has another, im gonna throw it in!!!!!!!!! Why not, im setting 8 pea eggs in the morning anyway.
