My Muscovy Hope is about 5 1/2 months old. She lives in a baby barn that has shavings for bedding. She has access to a covered fenced in run through the day. Fresh water twice a day. Unlimited gamebird food. The last little while she’s seemed weak at times, she would still be laying down in the mornings when I would go to feed them, and would be the first one laying down at night when I would go to close them in. I just thought maybe she was going to start laying soon. But yesterday she started holding up her left foot. And today she was limping. Now i am a nurse and I worked night shift last night, but was able to lift her and take a look at her foot before I had to lay down yesterday and I could not see anything on her foot. This morning when I let her out she was limping. Could she have Bumblefoot, and not scab?

I work again tonight, but starting tomorrow will be off for a few days. What can I do for her. No vets around where I live see ducks. I only have a couple feed stores near me don’t think they have a whole lot of stuff, but I may be able to get somethings from the feed stores. I could also order off amazon Canada. Please what can I do for her. I love Hope so much, I had hatched her from her egg cause it was crushed and shrink wrapped.

Any signs of injury? Redness, swelling etc. can she weight bear on that foot at all? Bumblefoot always has some sort of visible lesion in my experience.
Try her with warm Epsom salts soaks for the foot, twice a day if you can manage it.

When I picked her up yesterday there were no signs of injury. I didnt get a chance to look at her foot today. She was still weight bearing on it at times but the limping is new. When I went to close them in tonight before coming to work she was inside laying in a nest box and only moved when I went near her.

I have her soaking right now I’m some warm water with Epsom salts. I gave her some of her food, water with cider vinegar and some yogurt. She’s just kind of falling asleep in the water. I’m still not seeing anything on her feet but will check again when she’s done soaking

I need to get @casportpony here for a look at her poop pic. She could have bumble or an injury. I had a Runner with Bumble and no scab. But there was something there as you can see. If you can get a good pic of her foot and leg move her leg into normal position to see both and if anything is off with the one she’s favoring.

That poop is not normal. Are you sure you can't find a vet?

The colors of the poop, yellow & green, could mean that she is dehydrated or that she has an infection. Where in Canada do do live?
