she has been trying to get out of her egg since yesterday around 3pm (she was my second pip:)) and the only progress she has made is making a little hole only to fit her little beek out thats how I know she is still alive I can see her beek opening and closing...four of her sisters have already hatched since 1pm yesterday. I'm worried that she is going to get overly tired and die! I know that tis possible to help her if I need to but I don't want to open the incubator and risk the other eggs from nbot hatching...please help me I'm really scared...

Oh my....that's so sad! I wish I knew what to tell you

I've read where some have helped and others not. It's a difficult decision. Hopefully, she will rest and gather enough energy to zip on out of there.

It can take up to 24-hrs to pip and zip but I have seen them go up to 48-hrs, it takes time to absorb the yolk so that may be why it is taking so long, and more often then not my chicks that took forever to get out didnt make it b/c of various reasons like deformaties. Good luck, keep us updated!
