My Poor Little Girls got soaked!!!

I let them go outside today for the first time ever and they were really scared but after a while I could tell they were loving it. I had them in a wire cage with larger holes in the botom so they could get to the grass and all. Anywho I keep checking on them all morning and I thought oh they are fine so I went to watch a little tv. Out of no were it starts POURING down the rain! I ran out there and got them all back in side as fast as I could and they were all wet.
So there first time going outside and they get soaked not to mention they were terrified!!
Since I have brought them in they have not made a peep. Every time I go and check on them they just give me this look like yea thanks lady.
I hope they don't hate me forever!!!

I can just see what they are saying "Even our chicken mama's know enough to come in out of the rain, let alone NOT leave the babies!" I did that once,, I felt awful!!

I never did that when mine were babies, but it was pouring for a short while today and I told my DH I was going to run out and pour shampoo on all the chickens. That might as well get baths once in awhile.

Well I think that they have forgiven me now.
I put them back out today and they were lovin it.
