Awww....so sorry. It'll be OK.....You didn't want her to live like that. You did EVERYTHING you could possibly do, and probably more than a lot would have. It's so, so hard to lose one you've bonded with. Not like this will make a difference right now, but I can tell you there will be another one....After I lost my Sunshine I didn't think I'd ever bond with another chick like her....Well, lo-and-behold, one of the 40 some odd babies I have now is my "Pirate Chicken". Her name is Arizona and she's only two weeks old but with me all the time. She's a Buff Orp so she will become a very large shoulder chicken!!! But I am sorry for your loss. Breaks my heart to hear it. The circle of life is harsh!
