My popout door was froze shut this morning!

I could not get it to come open (it is on a pulley type system) and I immediately started panicing. I don't have food or water in there (not enough room.) So I was immediately worrying about moisture in the coop. So I climb into the run (it is only 4 ft tall) and I am looking at the door head on. It looks like the water came from one location..I look closer. It is an EGG!!!!

My first ever egg and I closed the popout door on it!

So I pried open the door and pulled out the treasure. I carried it in the house and put it in a freezer bag and I will proudly show it off to any and everyone I see!

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FIRST EGG! I'm so sorry that it was squished. It's still exciting to get that first egg squished or not. Is your pop door working ok now?

The door works great without the egg holding it shut.
