my pot belle isn't feeling well.

Hi. I was painting my house earlier today and my pot bellie who was no were near me when I started pouring the paint came out running and pushed his snout on the paint lid. I washed him of as soon as it happened but now he is acting weird. He barely touched his dinner and refused his snack. He's also been lying in bed when he's usually out with the family. He got into the paint around 10:30/11:00 this morning and he's been in bed for about an hour now. Oh, I also used a plastic medicine dropper to make sure he was getting fluids in him. Is there anything else I should do other then call my vet (I'm calling first thing)

Check if he has a fever that's the first thing we do to see if our micro pig is sick. Best of luck!

Thank you. He is warm, I called the vet, and hewill be going there in the morning if I can't bring his temperature fown

Pig's temp is normally 99-100 our vet said but last time mine got sick he was running a 104.5 fever. I hope he feels better!

What did you do to bring down the temperature?

He got a shot of fever reducer and antibiotics from the vet
