Hello guys ! We recently refilled and updated our medicine cabinet and i would love to share ours with you for future reference!!!
BLUE KOTE- in both spray and aerosol form for any wounds on ANY livestock. Also good to prevent game bird cannibalism when they are bleeding.
MANNA PRO POULTRY PROTECTOR- this is a spray that we use for scaly leg mite treatment/prevention. If you do routine dusting for chicken or red mites this a good protector NOT a treatment.
VET RX- great for scaly leg treatment or nasal/respiratory infections.
SEVIN DUST- this is the only dust i recommend for mites. If mixed with water can also be used for a routine coop and bedding spray. Let the coop dry before putting them back in.
SAV A CHICK- never use ANYTHING else for chicks
TETRACYCLINE HYDROCHLORIDE- if you ever see your chickens getting down with diarrhea or any disease symptoms give them this even if you are not sure what they have!!!! This will make LOADS of difference.
WAZINE- this is a good wormer for swine and poultry. Easy to use, administered through water , and is safe and gentle enough for chicks!
CORID- a good coccidiostat for all livestock
If you have any more suggestions or neat chicken supplements you use let me know!!

Triple antibiotic ointment: Topical wounds:
Bitter Apple spray: Feather picking (if it were to occur)
Nustock: Scaly leg:
Ravap EC, Permectrin II, or Cylence: Mites/lice in the coop or on birds
Oxine AH: Multi-use disinfectant/sanitizer:
Corid 9.6% or 20% powder: Coccidiosis
Sulfadimethoxine soluble powder: Coccidiosis/Cholera/ antibacterial
Aviotrich: Canker/Histomoniasis
Amoxicillin: 250mg caps: for gram positive and gram negative bacteria
Lewerstim: For cleansing & supporting liver and kidneys after medicating/during moult/stress.
Hake's Breeder Solution/ Avian Super Pack: Vitamin-mineral supplementation
Probios dispersible powder: Lactic acid bacteria for intestinal flora
Wheat germ oil fortified with A,D, E: Occasional dietary supplement.
Safeguard liquid: Fenbendazole (kills all worms besides tapeworms) Not good to use during moult
Worminator: Pyrantel (Kills most worms) Good to use during moult, but wouldn't use if tapes are a problem.
A-Lyte liquid/Avio-Multivite powder: for birds going through moult
Tube feeding syringe, 1 ml,3ml syringes, 18, 22 & 25 gauge needles

Even if some medications expire, it is better to be prepared than unprepared. I find myself putting supplements to good use and are more practical than finding all the ingredients in foods that may not be as digestible for absorption.

Thanks! l also for got to mention manna pro flock fuel it is just a boost for your layers. I will have to order some of this stuff!! I dont usually need antibiotics but 1-2 a month but i will definitely order some!!

Just a personal thought on unprescribed antibiotics. Maybe not the best idea to take to the heavy guns immediately, especially with broad spectrum antibiotics. But if you do, be sure to give it for long enough. Already even here in Finland, where antibiotics are not allowed to be administered without a prescription, in certain areas the normal recommended treatments can not be used due to resistant strains. The WHO just issued an alert about unregulated use of antibiotics being a huge threat to healthcare. It's been decades since any actually new antibiotics have been discovered, mostly the old ones are just changed to try and keep up with more powerful strains of bacteria.

Hopefully, in 20 years antibiotics will still be of some use. Otherwise the common cold will start culling people again, and the lack of effective treatments will no longer just be a problem of developing countries.
