Today I finally get to begin my homemade incubator project. My wife brought me an old bakery proofer from her job. She said to the best of her knowledge it works, but I am going to test it out to see if it does. If I can't get it to the temp I want I am going to install my own heating and humidity controls. It is solid metal on large wheels and about 6 ft. tall! It has a solid glass door for easy viewing. My wife asked me how many eggs could I fit in there and I told her she didn't want to know!

Then she gave me one of those wonderful wife looks

I told her I wasn't going to fill it full I have always wanted a giant incubator, but didn't want to spend the big bucks on one. I am also thinking of putting a divider in the middle to make two bators so I can use one for poultry and the other for waterfowl. I will post some pics soon so you can all see what I am dealing with. I have gotten a lot of ideas from everyone on here and I wanted to thank everyone for sharing their creativity.
