my quail both eyes got poked... Help

My quail both eyes got poked I put him by himself in a different cage.he eyes are close so when I feed him he can't see the food so he don't eat I try feeding myself but it still don't work how can I get him to eat again...

Set him in a pan with it scattered everywhere, he should be able to figure it out, they peck at the ground pretty much constantly and the stimulation of putting in something he thinks is dirt will probably be enough.

Ok that but do I keep him by himself or could I put a female with him

By himself, the hen may attack him because he is weak.

He doing a lot better one eye open good think his eyes might just be swollen. .. he eating and drinking more
