It still needs the middle door put in. It's not pretty but it's made from recycled wood and only cost us $30 to make

Looks good so far. I definitely have schemes in the back of my head to cannibalize pallets and free furniture and such to build some quail pens and a rabbit shed once we have a yard where we can do such things.
Though I may miss the crowing in my livingroom.

You may want to be "choosy" with pallets. A lot of them are treated with chemicals that could be harmful to your quail... and about "missing the crowing in the living room".... no, you won't.
