My quail has been limping for a while and i know the cause. Its either a flight injury or it was because he got attacked by this one cat. please help.

He has had this injury for a bit. Now im taking time to post about it and ask for help and on how to fix it. His foot is curled up like it was an injury. He was born like this and he was born with perfect feet

Soak the foot and get the poop ball off, this may help him uncurl the foot.

Looks like he's lost a toenail which can be a little painful, but should heal o.k.
The other nails need trimming, if they are overgrown, this can cause difficulty walking. You can carefully and slowly start trimming them down with nail clippers every few days until you get them in shape.

Yes Thank you. I figured that the nails need trimming. But what if the poop ball removal doesnt work? He’s had this problem for a while. What should i soak the foot with? Regular water?
 
I’m not really sure, sorry. I’m sure others will have more ideas.
Ok. I found out why he cant walk with the other leg. He cant straighten out this leg and it looks broken/paralyzed and He has to walk on his leg which you can see in these pictures
