My Quail Hutch!!

Earlier this fall I was given some quail eggs so I figured why not. Repurposed/rebuilt another pen into a quail hutch. I have six total. I think 2 male 4 female. My experience is very limited. I have one crooked neck that I didn’t think would make it but he hasn’t stopped. No eggs so far.Maybe it’s to short of a day and to cold. or maybe I have all males. Hatched September 12ish.
If you see something I should change I am all ears. Hutch is one large open compartment with a small hole going into a smaller compartment.

No I haven’t. Don’t know how. I am just going by the ones with speckled chest are females and the ones with solid color chest are males. Correct or no?
