We hatch a quail but the color is not the same as others... she have yellow solid color with a lil dot on the head...I just to know if this rare or no?any information. Thank you all in advance!
Most likely it's a A&M Bobwhite....which really isn't a Bobwhite but and English white.
When mature it will have 2 or 3 brown feathers on it's head, usually they have them between their shoulder on their upper back.
Are you sure a bobwhite in a cot clutch? I have several of them in my current batch. They will be white. Most all baby fowl ie chickens, quail, ducks when hatched yellow will be white as adults.
