My Quail laid an egg with another Shell-less egg attached. Is this Common?

"My Coturnix Quail laid an egg with a second Shell-less egg attached. Is this Common?"

So this was her first lay, she is about 5.5 weeks old and the last to start laying.
I actually watched her do it. It was strange, and she looked like she was in pain. she seems healthy and happy tho and my Roo loves her so I think she is alright. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated thank you guys:

her egg "with the shell was only 4g. and the size of a small olive lol. I will try to post a photo later.
