My quail

The day I had my quail I was so happy to have her and then in may 25 2018 in the morning my dad put the quail in my backyard and my mom heard a noise out there and then my mom checked outside and she's gone. Now I'm really sad cause we don't know where she is. We were looking for her and my dad saw feathers on the grass and doesn't know where she is. We are asking other houses if they saw her and nothing. We are trying our best to find her. If we can't find her that means some animal ate her. I was crying for a long time. She was my first quail and was the most softest bird. May she Rest In Peace if she's dead.

I'm sorry that has happened. I was very sad to when my female button died. Her poor mate just seems to cry. I'm looking to find a new friend for him, but unsure if he would take to another.

Sadly predators out there live, to eat anything they can get their teeth on. Please do check out the "Quail thread," for information on raising them and how best to protect them. Most birds do better with companions. They are flock animals and don't do well alone.
