Layer pellets for chickens is that ok? Or should I pen him up? I would really hate to do this. He hates to be in a cage.
 
No it's not ok. The high calcium content can cause kidney stones and kill rabbits. The hens could eat rabbit pellets or they could all eat an inclusive grain type "all-stock" feed.
