I do have another question though, at what age can I handle them?

Quote:
I start handling mine the day that they are born. It's a little risky, as they are very twitchy at that age, and can flip themselves out of your hand in the blink of an eye! Also, the disturbance of getting handled can make them pee, which is why I call them "squirts" at that age. Once their eyes open (10 - 12 days) they begin to be more coordinated, and get less likely to fall or wet on you. The more you handle them, the calmer they will be, and the better pets they make.

Your little guys are precious! I see a Tort, and two broken Torts, are they Hollands?

The mother is a Holland, the father I think is a rex, I am going to take pictures of him to see if you or anyone might have any idea as to what he is.

If you are interested in breeding rabbits, I would suggest getting some purebred pedigreed rabbits to work with. that way you can can work with reputable breeders, and have something to take to rabbit and 4h shows. There are plenty of mixed bred bunnies out there, but its ok if you are breeding for something like meat purposes. Mixes make nice pets, but you can't really do much with them, and a lot of people end up looking for purebreds as pets for their kids to show in things like open rabbit shows and 4h. Anyhow those babies are cute.
