After I had lost my peachicks to Coryza that was hatched under a hen in August- https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=535558 I had like the peachicks a lot, that I looked on Craigslist for any peafowl to replace what I had lost. Found an ad by a breeder, so I called them, and asked if they had any peachicks for sale. They did have some, 4 white of different ages, 1 silver pied, 2 blue indies. I drove an hour to get to the farm, got lost a few times and ended at a dirt trail, and got stuck. I had GPS, I could not believe that the GPS took me to that trail.
I was driving a van, so I had to call the breeder, and they told me that they will come and find me. While I was waiting, I tried backing up to see if I could get unstuck, it worked!
BTW I had a very bad signal on my phone, and it kept breaking up on me, while I was talking to the breeder.
I called the breeder, and told them that I got unstuck, and out of the woods and trail, and back to civilize dirt road.
Gave my location, and the breeders found me, and I followed them to their farm. Soo glad was I so made it! The couple was one of the nicest people that I have ever met. Their breeding pens is cleaner then most people's homes, they kept records of everything, the birds looks very well fed and healthy, although most were molting. They answered a lot of my questions, and showed me how to care for them and how often to clean the pens, everything. So, I brought all the chicks that they had, 7 total. 2 blue indies were 3 weeks old, and the others were feathered out, and were different ages, some were like 3 months to 4 months old. I did not go straight home, instead I went to my neighbor's and set them up there, I had permission.
I could not take them home for I still was culling my flock.

They were outgrowing the cage that I brought them home in, so I built them this quarantine pen.

My blue Indies-
They were hatched on August 6.
I think that the chick on the left is a female, and the one on the right is a male.
I am thinking that the pied is a female-
The breeders told me that none of the peas are related, so I will not be breeding siblings.
The peas are on turkey grower feed, and I am wondering when I will have to switch to a different feed, and what kind of feed? Thanks,
