Oh and thank you everyone for your comments. It is so nice to know that their are other chicken lovers out there who love their chickens the way I do. I could totally see myself as a chicken farmer. Who would have thunk it?

The molasses in the water flushes out her system and so you will need to build it back up. Give her Greek yogurt everyday and maybe some scrambled eggs once in a while. I wouldn't give the molasses to the healthy birds unless you are seeing signs of vent Gleet with them also.

If you want to do something for the rest of them and her mix some apple cider vinegar in their water. A couple tablespoons per gallon. This will treat yeast infections of the digestive track as well. I use it for myself if I get oral thrush after a round of antibiotics. It works great and is all natural.

I'm with Ellochicken. Give her yougart. It will clean out the bacteria.

Well Red has passed. I guess it was too little too late. It makes me very sad. She and 2 other chicks were our very first chickens we got. Raised them from little golden yellow chicks. Our white leghorn died the first hot summer we had. Our Barred rock just disappeared. And Red was the last of the 3. RIP Red. Thanks everyone for your help.

I am so sorry. I have a New Hampshire that we named Red. I know what it feels like to lose one. I lost one two weeks ago. I feel for you.
