My Rhode Island Red Layed this...

Definitely a double yolker. I got them last summer when my RIR pullets were laying their second month. I've got several this year about a month after my BR pullets started laying. They are just as tasty as the single yolk eggs however, I only use the round eggs for poaching. It will stop after a little while.

I had one that large from my Plymouth Blue Rock and it was this triple yolk. Her next egg was a double yolk. Made for a full breakfast for the two of us.

@HAPPYCHICKENLADY17 ooh, my chicken has layed two double yokes atm, how many did yours lay at 4 months?
I Didnt keep track, and it was hard cause i sold some dozens and gave some dozens away, and they would say, hey that large egg was a double yoke, never had a triple...oh my!!!!
