My RIR Girls....I think... Comments?

That's a pullet. You'd be seeing pointed saddle/neck feathers by now. BTW, both roos and pullets can have spurs, so never guess sex based on spurs.

Thanks everyone. I feel much better about her now. By the way, she is my 4 year old daughter's favorite. She picks her up and plays with her waddles and Butterfly just doesn't care!

I say pullet too. My RIR roo was much bigger than the girls at 16 weeks, with obvious hackle and tail feathers, and his legs were huge! I think you will have any early first egg.

It is certainly NOT a rooster, I am 100% positive on that one. She should be starting to lay soon.

Looks an awful lot like my RIR roo as far as the head. but the body and tail feathers not at all. not even the same color as my RIR's. are you sure that is what they are?
