I have 1 silkie roo and 3 silkie hens. two hens are only 18 weeks old but 1 hen is 1 year old. My roo has forced her to go broody. She went broody justed over a week ago by just sitting in the nest. My roo was sitting in the neat opposite her. When she would get out and move the roo would peck at her and shoo her back into the box. I had to give her some eggs to sit on and now she gets off the nest maybe once a day. The roo stands guard though. I feed her by hand to make sure she gets enough to eat. The roo is now not nice to the other hens. Sometimes he wont let them near the pen he keeps them outside until it is time for them to go and sleep. He also pecks them. Is this normal for a roo. Or is he becoming nasty. Thanks
