My roos flogging ends tomorrow

Will brine in the fridge work until ready to freeze?
This is probably too late to help you but I'll answer anyway. It may help someone else. They are good questions.

When i get home, should I put the carcass in the fridge or counter?

It doesn't matter as long as you keep it cool so bacteria can't grow. Some people keep them in the fridge, some keep them in an ice chest. Temperature is what counts, not where it is. You do not store at room temperature. Some people keep them dry, some soak them in a liquid. That liquid might be water, it might be a brine solution.

How many days before I can freeze him?

Check in a couple of days. You are aging it so rigor mortis can pass. If all stiffness is gone you can freeze. Wiggle a leg. If it is really limp, it's ready to freeze.

About a year and half

You will want to let it rest in the fridge for 3-5 days then ... like said above ... try to wiggle it's leg ... if it is all wrapped up in one of those shrink wrapped plastic bags, that's gonna be hard to do ... gonna be hard to brine too, so I am hoping it isn't .
