My roost height of 24" is correct!

7 week old Chicks have been in the coop since Thursday. Went to look at them tonight around 8:00. All 6 were sitting on the roost hanging out. Yea!
I thought the roost may be to high. Guess I was wrong. Again.

Good job chicken-mama. My lower roost is about 24" up, and the higher one is 36". I had to put mine in their coop every night for about a week before they got the hang of it. One night I went out there to put them up and they were already roosting. They just hop right up there. It's been bliss ever since. I still go out every evening to lock up - they come scrambling out thinking it's treat time...
