My rooster attacking a fake rooster

My little buddy i had finally got taken out by some mean dogs. He was part of the family. I have a funny video of him attacking a fake rooster when he came in the house one day.

Thank you. He just showed up one day and lived in the woods during the night. We became buddys and he actually got to stay in the house on a stick at night for a bit. It didnt take me long to build a coup because he would crow every morning at 4:30am. Thanks again

My wife advised me not to get hens as she thought he may try to protect them and get killed himself. Thats exactly what happened. I bought 10 hens and he was trying to protect them from two stray dogs. I still have 5 hens. I've been thinking about getting another small rooster. Thanks for your comment
