Just me, not my husband.

After I feed them and let them out of the coop, he starts to come after me, stamps his feet and pecks my legs. So now I bring a rake in with me and place it between us so he can't get to me.

Any suggestions on how to make him just as loving as the hens?!?!

Unlikely to change. Aggression varies amongst breeds so correcting it may be more difficult depending on the bird. It sounds like you keep birds in a run? A friend of mine had varying degrees of success by spending more quiet time with her troublesome roos. She would bring some treats and entice them and their gals to feed around her. It sometimes took weeks-months to break them of this bad habit, if at all. Some mellowed out and others did not.
Its a long journey that I personally am not willing to make. Its a much shorter distance to my dinner table.

you could try holding him upside down by his feet for a minute or so; that seems to establish who's boss pretty quickly
