My rooster breed

He's young and his hormones are racing. If you can, separate him from the hens. That gives them a break and gives him time for his hormones to calm down. If after several months you put them back together and he remains aggressive to the hens then you might think of rehoming him. I forgot to ask how many hens you have. It's thought that there should be no more than 1 rooster to 10 hens. I've had a lower ratio at times but both roosters had very mild temperaments.

It's a Black Copper Marans. He'll make a good cross with breeds like Easter Eggers or Ameracunas of you're into that sort of thing. No guarantees that he carries the dark egg gene since he's not going to be laying an egg anytime soon.
Where did you get him? And how is he being aggressive with the hens? Pulling a few neck feathers out can be expected, but flogging is a little abnormal.

I have 4. He goes after 3 but is scared of my buff Orpington

He's a beautiful rooster. If you can't keep him I think you would have no trouble re-homing him.

Maybe pen him with just the Buff Orpington, so she can beat some manners into him.

Pretty BCM. He'll calm down just needs to grow up some - or he is and is just trying to assert himself and will calm down when the girls submit. Where did you get him? His hackle feathers look beat up...
