My Rooster came from a Ameraucana Breeder, is it or is it a EE?

It looks pretty close to a brownred male to me, but I am not a breeder. In some pics, looks light he has the gray legs (not the green of EE). The only concern that I have is that he has some red bleeding through on his breast. Ameraucana breeders are so specific, that any minor variation in color then becomes deemed an EE (some EE are just closer to "Ameraucanas" than others), Check out the Ameraucana forum for more info.

i dunno looks like a EE and as for green legs

in the last pic it looks like the legs are green

an almost swampy mirky green


it possible its a amarucana male on a EE Hen giving it more distinct Ameruacana features

His Leg's are not green in person, more of a Grayish Slate color.

Those pictures make his legs look green, but if they are slate in person then I'd say you have yourself a Wheaten Ameraucana

looks like a blue wheaten to me mixed with a brown red which would make it an ee. note the color of their beards and chest, yours has a colored beard and color on the chest which they dont have. for more pics follow the link

His legs def aren't green, it's so hard to tell the diff but I guess if he has some color in odd spots he is either poorly bred or a mix. He is a nice rooster even though he doesn't give the hens a break he rides none stop.

I completely agree with Hdowden. It's a mix of purebred Ameraucanas. Technically, because the breed standard is exacting, this makes it an EE. Pretty boy either way!
