My rooster can't balance? He keeps falling backwards and sitting on the ground.

Chickens can break one another's necks! Possible a neck injury of some sort?

He sounds like he has a head injury, but your rooster that died could have had the same or even Mareks disease. For electrolytes in a pinch, you can use Gatorade or Pedialyte, or mix a tsp of sugar and a small pinch of salt in a quart/ liter of water.

If he had Marek's disease, wouldn't my other chickens be affected by it as well? Or is it possible for only one chicken to get it?

Mareks is only a suggestion of why he died. If you bave multiple roosters, he may have had a head or brain injury. Chickens who become lame or have dropping wings on one or both sides, and sometimes a twisted neck can have Mareks. Only a necropsy by your state vet could diagnose Mareks. Mareks is said to be in almost every flock. Some chickens seem immune. Even vaccinated chickens can get Mareks.

My 1 year old rooster got in a fight with another rooster recently. The only injury he got from it was a bloodied comb...or so I thought. Now he seems listless. He is walking around, but is acting as if he is drunk. He stumbles, falls backwards, and has been sitting in an odd way...kind of like a hen laying an egg. He still eats and tries to pursue hens, but he's stopped crowing and acting roosterish in general. Oddly enough, this rooster's uncle (who was identical to him) also showed these symptoms shortly before dying, except he had blood in his droppings too. But what is causing this?

Other: His droppings seem perfectly fine. He seems a bit thin, but nothing serious. This has been going on for five days and is steadily worsening.

One of my boys, Jack Black, started stumbling today - he's OK going forwards - and can run when he sees a bit of "action" going on, but I don't think he's infected with anything, I'm quite confident he's been fighting. One thing cockerels are good at is hitting that 'sweet spot' on the back of the head - if they get it right it's fatal, but if they miss by a little it seems to cause something akin to brain damage. He's still eating and crowing and doing rooster stuff, he's just having dizzy spells, especially when he shakes his head out leans slightly sideways, such as when he's courting the ladies.
Your bird sounds like he's very unwell, doesn't he? If he's the only one and you have other males, he's possibly been hammered otherwise he could have eaten something poisonous (aubergine, potato or mouldy food perhaps?)
I'd recommend you isolate him though. If he's poorly the others will pick on him and if he's been fighting he needs time to recover, (and if he's dying, he deserves to do so in peace, perhaps?)
