Hello, I am new to the site. I own a rooster and he has an asbcess like mass on his feet. I don’t have an avian veterinary near me. It’s been swollen for 2 days now I don’t know what to do or what medication to buy him. Maybe a spider bite? Help please

Did it suddenly swell up? Any closer pictures? Not over time like bumblefoot?

soak it in epsom salts..... and the go get antibiotics at tractor supply

It looks like there may be scabs on the swollen area, footpad, and toes. That is a sign of bumblefoot or footpad dermatitis. The most common treatment is to soak the feet in warm Epsom salts water, or water with dish soap or Betadine. Softening the c
scabs for about 20 minutes, you can try to remove the scabs and then squeeze out any pus or hardened core inside. This soaking can repeated for several days until you get the pus out. Then dress the wounds with plain antibiotic ointment and gauze, tape, or vetwrap. Don’t get too tight.
