So do Roosters just hate socks? I believe so. My sweet Roody is just out to get them. Anytime I wear socks outside he will just bite and twist the crap out of them.
Flip flops? No problem.
But you better not be wearing those tricky socks around him. He will not have it.

Now, he is the sweetest Rooster this side of the Mississippi. (In my opinion of course)

He will let you pick him up. Rub his waddles until he falls asleep.
If you happen to be sitting in a chair watching the sunset, he will join you and give you very awkward snuggles.

But wear those socks and all hell will break loose. He will chomp down so hard, twist and turn till he bites the demons out of them.

I dont know what he has against them but he sure as heck thinks he's helping the world out somehow.

Roosters exhibiting any aggressive behavior need to be corrected right away. Handling them only adds to the problem. He needs to move out of your way when you walk near him, every single time. Do not tolerate any aggression and you may be able to ward off a what could be turning into dangerous situation.

I have a hen who hates feet... She is a total snuggle-bug and sweetheart, but the moment she sees feet or you wriggle your toes, she flares up, stalks and pecks at them!

My dad has been a victim to her attacks when he can't be bothered to put socks or shoes on! :lau
