My rooster is growling and won’t get out of the egg laying box! The entire flock is going crazy!

It's gotten to where I just ask Kong...."Is today the day your gonna show me what color egg you got, buddy?" 😉

But seriously both my roos do this, they also will sometimes stand quietly watching over their hens while they're laying.

This is King with one of his girls, they were dead set on laying eggs on my workbench for a while, so I put a box there for them.🙂

Hopefully you marked the eggs she's been sitting on so you don't have a staggered hatch....and none of them were damaged in the fracas.

Is this a new male..if so, how new??
Yes he is about 3 months new. We rescued him from the park n ride.

Is this the first time he's done this?
Was he accepted by the flock and allowed to mate right away?
I assume the other male was gone before this one arrived.

lol I need your rooster to whip my girls in shape. They decided it’s break time for the last month and half.
