My Easter egger rooster attacks my husband every time my husband goes outside without me. What can we do to stop it?

He may need to bring a stick or a broom and use it to get the rooster away or just get rid of the rooster.
Yep. But, if you really like or are emotionally attached to that particular rooster, you could either bring a stick and broom, as he said, or accompany your husband, or go yourself instead of your husband.

Good roosters are worth their weight in gold...husbands, well, they're a dime a dozen.:p

Roosters are a bit like working farm dogs. they respond best to one person. Sometimes one gets very mellow roosters who will put up with just about anyone but they are rare in my experience.
You could train your husband; probably easier than trying to get your rooster to like him.
Best option is for you to deal with the chickens on your own. If the rooster doesn't like your husband the feeling is probaly mutual so no love lost and perhaps some relief on both sides if they don't have to deal with each other.
