My rooster just crowed at 10:15pm?

Fred would wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning once in a while and start crowing. Something would startle him and that would be it. Luckily a stern "Fred! Knock it off!" would quiet him. I love my girls , but I really miss that roo

Years ago I had a roo that when a car went by, it would flash (breifly) of lights in the windows and then go dark. Each time a blast of light went through, he would be able to get the Er-a-Er out. no more! So I chuckled when I read this.
