My rooster just did the deed and

I was wondering, does this mean she should be laying now? He did it right in front of me, I was quite embarassed

. They are all 19 weeks today. Should I be getting an egg now?

You do know that you dont need a rooster for eggs right? It doesnt mean she is gonna lay an egg now, but if she squats for you, you can expect them soon.

Yes I do know that we don't need a man to ovulate, I mean she don't need a Rooster to lay eggs.

I just thought that maybe since he was trying to mate her that she should be laying his babies soon. She has been squatting for 3 weeks and has been talking to me for 2 weeks.

It should happen pretty soon. Mine was squatting and talking for probably about a month before she finally laid one.....I swore she was NEVER going to.
