A fmale friend of mine came to visit me. My rooster Michael had never seen this woman before, so he did his usual,”Oh, I’m just pecking the ground, don’t mind me” method of coming up with a stealth attack. I firmly told him no several times , pointing my finger at him, and he got the point.
But my friend wanted to let Michael and she said it would be okay since she is learning about roosters because her in laws have chickens. So she walked up to Michael to pet him. He of course pulled his head back like, “Oh Hell No you didn’t!” And when she backed her hand away, he came up with a missed peck, a jump in the air to scratch( also missed her) , but while in that jump right after the missed peck he managed to fling a good chunk of his poo at her and it was a bullseye!
Had anybody else out there witnesses this poo slinging technique?
Michael is an eight pound black Australorpe and he is arrogant but gentle to me.
