My rooster needs help!

Some photos….. leg photo is the good leg which he struggles to get on, I need to assist him to stand then he just falls forward

You mentioned his foot felt warm. Just like humans, that could mean either it's injured, badly bruised, or there's an infection brewing in his foot.

I would soak his foot in warm Epsom salt water and take a good look at it. Check the bottom for any injuries or scabs.

As much as you may not want to, I would put him in a small pen or cage where he can stand but take very few steps, to try keep him off of the foot as much as possible.

Can you also pick up some Poultry Cell or Nutri-Drench and put that in his water. If he's got an infection or injury, the vitamins will help him fight it. Try some scrambled eggs as those are very healthy. Also, get a small bowl and put his chicken pellets/crumbles in there and get them all wet. Wet "mash" usually goes over like a treat for chickens.
