My rooster Rusty!!!!!! New pictures of my Flock!!!!

Rusty is a pure bred Rhode Island Red rooster that one of my broody BR gals hatched out last year in the middle of August. I'm quite impressed with him. You should see him with his girls. He's everthing that a rooster should be. He's SO gentle with the girls. You should've seen him when he was with his brand new offspring. He was like 15 times larger than them but he just lay down and let his babies crawl all over him.

He'll have some more babies hatch in the next couple weeks. I hope that he'll be just as gentle with them as he was with his first offspring.

We have a Rusty Rooster too...he is such a pushover. He is a Cuckoo Maran. Your guy is gorgeous!

What a beautiful boy!! Most impressive, tail and all!! Wishing you best of luck on his continuing the good temperament. I think that if he's this good with the girls and the young'uns now, he'll continue to be so! It's probably just his nature!
