My rooster thinks its a cat.....

I have a giant buff orpington rooster.... he lives with 2 ducks and 6 hens....

He has decided that hes a cat...he gets in the nest box and does this low purring sound....

and sometimes a hen will join him...

Why is he doing this??? Should i expect him to say meow next? LOL!!!!

I'll get a pic next time i catch him doing it!

He's telling your hens that he's ready to be a Daddy and the nest boxes would be a good place to start working towards that goal.
