My daughter and I found this at a salvage yard for $50 along with 7, 15' long metal roofing panels. It is just over 4' wide and just over 8' long, and tall enough to walk inside to clean.
There is some rotted wood around the backside where the doorway is but it is in overall good shape.
It was used for hunters so is covered in a camo fabric which we are going to remove. It seems to have held moisture and I don't want that. We have 4 sex link hens that are between 5 and 8 weeks old still living in the house, and 2 four month old silkies living in the shed, SOOO we are really excited to get working on this transformation to a coop. We live in Florida so the openings will give great ventilation. All the openings will be secured with hardware cloth of course.
I will post our progress on this project. Today will be spent removing the fabric and seeing how much wood needs replaced.
