my second problem has made itself visable. read it all and help plz!!!

thanks you all are very helpful.
i have another problem.
i had a chick hatch on jan 8 or so and was in the house until about 4 days ago.
well when he was in the house he would fly onto my arm and was overall just a very tame little chick.
well since i have moved hi m outside he hates to be picked up and runs every time i get near him.
he is in with 8 other chicks and they "were" all very tame but now they run also.
they didnt have a mom as they where hatched in the incubator but i put a black silkie hen in there and she is a very nice hen and she has taken on role of mothering the little chicks. i dont think that she has anything to do with it but i dont know. does she.
has she been teaching them bad habits.
she likes me and is not at all skiddish.
so please help me.

They are acting normal. Just sit with them and give them some treats. Eventually they will settle down how much does depend on the breeds. They are just being kids.
