My sick hen is lethargic and tips over on uneven surfaces. Home care isn’t helping. Any ideas?

Hi, our hen Betsy is 4 years old. A few days ago, we noticed she was lethargic and would randomly lose her balance and not be able to get up. Her comb got paler and her eyes are kind of squinty (no discharge).

We immediately isolated her inside and started supportive therapy - electrolytes, vitamins, etc. Keeping her warm. She is eating and drinking and squawking when we come near her. She can walk a bit and stand in her isolation pen. But outside on the uneven ground, she sometimes tips over. She doesn’t move around much except to eat and drink. She seems kind of dazed.
Hasn’t laid an egg in a week.

Her poops are mostly normal looking, some a bit watery.

After 4 days, she doesn’t seem to be worsening but also not improving. Any ideas? The avian vet here is $$$, far away, and we can’t easily afford it. I just want to try everything I can to help her at home. Thank you!

P.S. She is vaccinated against Marek’s.

Had she laid eggs pretty regularly before her last egg a week ago? Were her shells hard? Have you noticed any yellow urates in her poop? That is normally white. Does she walk or waddle with her legs farther apart? How does her crop feel right now, and again first thing in the morning before she eats or drinks? It should be flat in the am, and fill up during the day with food. Crop problems with a full firm or squishy crop can be common. Is she eating and drinking enough? What do you feed her? Reproductive disorders are also common. Look her skin over under her vent, belly and neck for any signs of lice, their nits, or mites. Does she have any bubbles in either eye, or signs of respiratory problem? It is good that she is separated so she doesn’t get picked on, but I would give her some time with your supervision, to visit with her flock daily. I usually separate within the coop or run in a wire dog crate with food and water, so they remain a part of the flock.
