My silkie dosen't know how to take a dust bath!

Just wondering if anyone else have heard of this or has had it happen to one of their chickens. It's strange though because I have four little chicks that already know how to take a dust bath and they are way younger than my silkie...well...Beth (my silkie) isn't the smartest chicken...I love her anyway! She's my cuddle bunny!

My Black Australorps didn't take a dust bath till they were nearly 6 months old and they are surrounded by a ton of dirt!! LOL I was starting to wonder the same thing and that maybe there were a few screws loose in their heads.

But now they won't quit looking like dirty powder puffs!

So give your baby some time. She will pick it up eventually.
