my silkie has wierd head feathers?

I have a partridge bearded silkie (4 or 5 months I think), and the top of his head has been growing some wierd looking feathers! they are stright without fuzz and look a little oily (maybe because theyre so dark). looks like just the stem of a feather. do a lot of silkies have that?

That is probably the outer coating of the feather. It will fall off and the feather will `fuzz' out soon.

Could be 'boy streamers'.
